COLOR PHOTOGRAPHS

All landscape images within this color portfolio were produced with a Pentax 6x7 medium format camera and Fuji Velvia or Kodak E100VS film.  Each transparency selected for public release, in editions limited to 199 (all sizes inclusive), is converted to a digital file via high quality film scanning and printed with archival inks on Harman Glossy Fiber-Based AL Bright White (FBAL) 320 gsm paper.  While this paper was developed to mimic the look of traditional air dried glossy, fiber-based black and white darkroom paper, we have not hesitated to implement it for color work based on its rich colors recordation and semi-gloss finish.  The paper features the addition of baryta to its coating, a chemical compound often used in darkroom papers for increased tonal range.

MONOCHROME PHOTOGRAPHS

All landscape images within this monochrome gallery were created with a Pentax 6x7cm medium format camera and Konica 750 infrared film, Kodak TMAX 400, or Ilford SFX 200 film.  Each negative selected for public release, in print editions limited to 199 (all sizes inclusive), is converted to a digital file via high quality film scanning and printed with archival inks on Harman Glossy Fiber-Based AL Bright White (FBAL) 320 gsm paper.  This paper was developed to mimic the look of traditional air dried glossy, fiber-based black and white darkroom paper.  The paper features the addition of baryta to its coating, a chemical compound often used in darkroom papers for increased tonal range.
